It's okay

As we were reflecting on our first semester of grad school, we decided that one of the most significant themes of our time so far has been support. One individual writes the phrase “it’s okay” while the other individual braces the weight of the glass. In the exchange of communicating it’s okay, we meditate both on the emotional and physical experience of supporting one another. We repeatedly write the phrase until it becomes a truth on both sides. Once the collaboration is completed, the writing is erased. The glass itself provides a space for the intangible experience of support to become a weighted, fragile, physical object, while still remaining transparent. glass, text, and meditation.
