It is human to be drawn to nature, no matter how removed we are from it. I perform futile acts of archiving as a practice of seeing and meditating. Through physical collections and photography, I document the delicacy and elegance within the natural world that we tend to discount. Conventions of horticulture, entomology and museum studies are used to make connections to that of an archive and a body of research. The archive itself is an analogy to my own obsessive efforts in trying to understand self as well as my longing for nature.
